Next September 24th is the English Day taking place in our school and everyone seems to be very exited about this. There are many activitites being organized by students and teachers working together to make this day one of the best of the year.
In my opinion this is a great opportunity for all the students to improve their knowledge about many English speaking countries.
Also, they´ll be able to have a great time and enjoy next to their teachers and friends.
SEE YOU IN THE ENGLISH DAY
The English day its going to take place the 25th of the present month. It will be full of activities and the Hub will give a great instance for learning. To have an idea of what would you be able to do, imagine that it is a kind of science fair but in English.
In my opinion, this is an awesome event that should have taken place a lot of years before because it gives the opportunity for improving the most important language in the world and having fun at the same time.
During the first week of the winter break, some students from II, III and IV, also some ex-students and teachers (including the great Mr. VanderZee) went to the city of Limache to help families from there by repairing their houses and sharing with them. This was an experience accompanied by a great social life between all the people that went there and many activities organized by the teachers, the spiritual team and also by the own students.
I think this is an awesome experience that every student should live at least one time during their school life because you learn about a new realitiy and can help a little bit to change it by helping people. It is very good also because you learn a lot of life experiences shared by the people that live there.
After winning against Peru (2-1) in a very interesting game, Chile move on to the final of the Copa America that will take place this Saturday at 17:30, where the players will be playing at the National Stadium.
We will play against Argentina in this match after they won against Paraguay with a crushing result by the “albicelestes” (6-1).
This is the first time in 28 years that Chile reach the final of this tournament.
I think this is a great opportunity to show the world that the Chilean people are brave and can do what all the world think we can´t.
The only think to expect now is to win the tournament and keep with the trophy as a great achievement in our sports history.
After the match in which Chile won 1-0 against Uruguay, we moved on to the semi-finals. And yesterday, we knew that we are going to deal with Peru to move on again, but this time directly to the final of the American Cup.
I think this is a great step for Chile because we are dealing with great football players and it seems that we have a lot of possibilities of winning this tournament.
The only thing that we are specting to know now is which country are we going to play against in case we move on to the final. It could be Argentina, Colombia, Brazil or Venezuela.
Everybody knows about the car accident starred by Arturo Vidal so I’m not going to inform you about that. But I will give my opinion about this notice.
I think it is inacceptable that the autorities didn’t punish him severely because he could have killed someone or himself.
In my opinion, he should be in jail and they shouldn’t allow him to play the American Cup.

The famous genius Stephen Hawking, said at an interview with TechWorld that we should be careful because machines are able to submit us from here to a hundred years long.
He also claimed that we shouldn´t worry about who controls the technology but we should worry about the fact that if is it the technology controllable.
In my opinion, Hawking is overreacting about something not probable. I think it´s not a clever supposition but the world takes it in mind because of his previous achievements.

They can be used for a lot of things such as movies, photos, sports, and so on.
I think this is a great tool for everyone interested in the world of media and also it facilitates the professional work of many people so it is great that their use is increasing along the time.
Now you would be able to make free voice calls by using WhatsApp. The tool is just available for Android devices for now but the company is working to expand it to other users.
This is a great initiative because now we are going to be able to make free calls, fact that means we are not going to need to pay huge amount of money to a company for some minutes for calling.
