The Union’s President, Jaime Gajardo, said “we haven’t had any conversation with the authorities since they sent the new educational policy project to the parliament.”.
The Union received a letter from the Minister of Education in which he invited the guild to deliver specific proposals to reform the educational project. But the President replied that the letter doesn’t help to overcome the conflict, he claims that a dialogue table should be formed to discuss the problems.
Today, an assembly will be set to discuss if the teachers continue with the strike or not.
