Women’s Soccer

By Catalina Polanco (9th grade)

Why is there such a difference between women’s and men’s soccer?

It´s a fact that man have more physical aptitudes to play this sport, but women should not be discriminated just for being who we are. Currently in United States soccer it´s not played by most of the men, they prefer other sports like basketball or baseball, girls are the ones who practice more.

In Chile´s schools there are not many opportunities to play but there are other places when you can play it even professional, but those that do it are seen as unfeminine women so most of them are actually ashamed of it.
