In Pakistan, many people are trying to capture scorpions to sell to foreign countries for huge prices. Even though this is not officially illegal, it is unregulated and hunters and buyers have developed a strange black market for these animals. Those looking to buy or sell often hold secret meetings and do their best to avoid the police. Some claim a 60 gram scorpion could be sold for as much as $50,000 US dollars.
